What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Vern and Delores have 3 children, Randy Eugene (9), Christine Rene (7), and Shalene Rae (5 months). Vern has taken courses through the University of Nebraska and is now a police officer. He is an Indian Guide and enjoys scuba diving, hunting, fishing, camping, Las Vegas LA, San Diego, Mexico, and fishing trips.

1982 – Gene and Dee have 3 children, Randy (19), Christine (17), and Shalene (10). He has been with the Lincoln Police Department for 17 years and is a Crime Prevention Specialist and also gives “Neighborhood Watch” presentations and is “Officer Vern” on KLMS radio station as a traffic reporter. Their family enjoys fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities.

1987 – Gene is a Crime Prevention Specialist with the Lincoln Police Department, making presentations to organizations and groups from pre-school age to senior citizens. He is a part time instructor at the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. Gene is co-founder and President of the Nebraska Crime Prevention Association and Regional Director (six states) of the International Society of Crime Prevention Practioners. Also, Gene received the Liberty Bell Award. Dee and Gene celebrated their 25 wedding anniversary on a Caribbean cruise, stopping at Nassau, San Juan, and St Thomas. They enjoy traveling, fishing, movies, and auctions. The Cambell children are: Randy (24), Christine (22), and Shalene (15).

1997 –

2002 – As of April 10, 2002 I will retire from the Lincoln Police Department. We plan on taking some trips, already have a 10 day cruise to the Mexican Rivera planned for April 2002. Doing some fishing and spending time with our children and grandchildren. In august of 2002 when the new Southwest High School opens I will be the security coordinator for the Silver Hawks.
