1972 – George attended the
University of Nebraska where he received his BA in 1966 and a JD in 1969. He
was in OEO Poverty work, Leech Lake Reservation, Minnesota 1969-1971 and has
been in private practice since 1971. He is in the American Trial Lawyers
Association, Minnesota Bar, and the Minnesota Public Defender, 9th
District. George and Carolyn Ann enjoy back packing, sailing, skiing
(downhill and cross-country) and flying. |

1982 – George has been
practicing law in Bemidji for the last 13 years. His law firm contains two
attorneys, an investigator, and 3 clerical staff. He is married for the
second time, to Nancy, and they have one child Woodrow Charles. George’s two
children from his first marriage, Benjamin and Elizabeth, live with their
mother in Lincoln. He continues to be interested in fishing, hunting, and
traveling. |

1987 – George is a partner
in the Law Firm of Duranske and Hazelton and specializes in plaintiff person
injury law. He finds great satisfaction in his work and has handled files in
Florida, South Carolina, Utah, Wisconsin, and South Dakota. George spends
time traveling with his children Ben (12), Elizabeth (9) and Woody (5) at
their ski townhouse at Lutsen Mountain. He and Nancy also spend time in the
Minneapolis/St Paul are visiting family and friends. They reside at Moose
Manor on Kabekona Lake and enjoy fishing, hunting, sailing, skiing, and
lounging. |
