His wife, Karen, was a Northeast graduate in 1967 and they have two children, Scott (3) and Kimberly (4 months). He is active in the Jaycees, Lions Club, and Masonic Lodge, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and all sports in his time off. He has lived six months in New Jersey and six months in Washington.

Dick earned a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Wesleyan University and is a graduate of Winona School of Professional Photography. He served in the Army in Viet Nam from 1968 – 69. He and Karen run and operate the Evans Photography Studio. Dick is the Vice-president of Nebraska Society of Professional Photographers, currently Vice-president and President elect of the Professional Photographers of Nebraska, has served on the Board of Directors of Heart of America Professional Photographers, and received the Master of Photography degree form the Professional Photographers of America in July in Las Vegas. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and skiing.

1987 – Dick received a Master of Photography Degree in 1982. He is president of the Heart of America Professional Photographers Association. His term runs through 1989. He recently built a new studio at his old location. Karen and Dick have three children: Kimberly (15), Kristy (12), and Robbie (8). Extra time is spent hunting, fishing, and attending horse shows. Dick judges print competitions and give lectures to other professional photographers.

2002 – Love golf, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and traveling. Will probably retire in 2 years and buy a winter home in Florida, but Lincoln will always be home. I’ve been very blessed to have a nice business in a career I love. I’ve been also blessed to find a wonderful woman late in life to be my sole-mate.
