Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 –

1982 – Don and Joyce have 3 children, Kristen (15), heather (12), and Jeremy (9). Don served in the Navy and was stationed in Washington, where he met Joyce. After the Navy, he went to work for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He now works for the Trident Sub Base at Bangor, MA. He is a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge and is a certified Referee of the National Federation of State High School Association for Football. He is a career counselor in the Naval Reserves. As a family they enjoy collecting antiques, traveling, 3 dogs, and 4 cats, and activities that go along with 3 children.

1987 –

1997 – I have been a sports official for the past 20 years. This includes basketball, baseball, softball, and football. This supports our hobby of travel. Since we lived in Japan for 3 years we got the travel bug and have since been to London, Okinawa, Bangkok-Thailand, and previously to Korea and Hong Kong.

2007 – After high school I joined the Nave as a Intercommunications Electrician or Icman. I was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Oriskang. While in Bremerton WA for ship repairs I met my future wife on a blind date. We were married December 23, 1965, one week after I returned from Vietnam. It has been an interesting journey. We lived in Japan for 3 years, visited Hong Kong, Korea, Hawaii, England, Ireland, Scottland, Wales, Tailand, and Spain. Have been a sports offical for 27 years (football, basketball, baseball, and softball). Past Exualted Ruler Bremerton, Elks 1181 (1979-80). Past District Deputy (2004-05), President Oriskang Association. We belong to a car club and have a 1941 Buick Super. In May we are meeting our daughter Heather and her family to tour Germany. They are stationed in Tota, Spain. I hope this finds my classmates well and prosperous. Life is short, enjoy it as much as possible.
