Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Arnie is married to Jackie Buster, a Northeast graduate in 1963. They have two children, Michael Thomas (5) and Michelle Marie (2). Arnie entered the Navy in 1962 and served three years. He spent time in Italy, Spain, and Cuba, while in the Navy and they lived in South Carolina for one year. They toured a lot of the East Coast while there, visiting Washington DC, colonial Williamsburg, and many other historical sites. Two years ago, they drove to California and spent a month going different places, stopping off at Reno on the way home to drop off their left over money. His hobbies are bowling and bike riding and he enjoys camping, boating, fishing, and motorcycle races in his spare time.

1982 –

1987 – Arnie has been with the Lincoln Fire Department for 21 years and holds the rank of Captain. He is at station #10 (1440 Adams). Arnie has received awards from LFD but says his best awards are Mike (20) and Shelly (16). They are great kids. “After being married most of my life, I find time to travel now, fish, camp and boat, except when I have to stay home and keep track of Shelly.
