1972 – Janet married
Richard Blake, a Northeast graduate in 1959 and they have three children,
Kenneth (7), Melynda (3), and Russell (1). She is a housewife and likes to
sew I her free time and is involved in church groups. Richard is in the US
Navy so they have lived in several places—Memphis TN, Norfolk VA, and Lemoore
CA. They enjoy camping in the Sierra Nevada’s or over to the coast. They are
about half way between LA and San Francisco, so they head either direction
for sightseeing. |

|
1987 – Janet is an
Administrative Assistant in secondary marketing at Investment Mortgage
Company. Janet has four children, Kenneth (23), Melynda (19), Russell (17),
and Heather (14) and two step sons, Rob (19) and Kenneth (17). She and Bob
have four grandchildren. During the past five years, the Wards have moved
twice. From Florida to Virginia, and after Bob retired from the Navy, to
Missouri. They enjoy being closer to family, having glimpses of “life after
children”, and having friends from all over the world pop back into their
lives unexpectedly. Janet says, “Who has spare time? What with three
teenagers at home, working full time, Superwoman don’t have spare time!” She
does do a little sewing and some gardening (mostly roses). |
