Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1982 – Christine is married to Doug Wilson and they have three children, Susanna (6), Brant (4), and Richard (2). Christine is currently a fulltime ‘home executive’ after graduating from UNL with a degree in elementary education. After freezing at the equator in Kenya and breaking skis in Switzerland, she and Doug married and when he completed his PhD in physics, they settled in New Mexico. Christine’s current interests include cooking, photography, slide shows, aerobics, and reading.

1987 – Christine is now a full time mother to Susanna (11), Brant (9) and Ricky (7). She is active as a volunteer and in May 1987 received the “outstanding Girl Scout Leader” award. Christie and Doug enjoy skiing (last year they had more than 130 inches of snow). Christie “discovered spare time” when Ricky entered first grade. She is trying tennis, which she says is a real challenge.

1997 – I’m not making it to the reunion because It happens to be a busy summer and I’m on duty as mother. The last of busy summer! Right!? I’m now a golfer and would have enjoyed the golf. We still enjoy living in the mountains so hiking & skiing are big on my list. (we had excellent ski season this past year) I also enjoy cooking and just discovered quilting.

2002 – I think our Northeast years were a wonderful base for like. I’m eager to be a grandmother but still a few years away. We enjoy living in New Mexico but are eager for snow & rain! (this month the forests are closed to hiking and camping. I enjoy quilting. We enjoy spending 5 months in Paris last year.

2007 – I will be in Lincoln briefly in June to see my son Rick umpire the baseball games. I need to learn the Lincoln team name! Currently I’m in Alabama helping my daughter who just had son number two. His name is Jackson – how neat is that?
