Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Karen and Ron have one little girl, Leslie Elizabeth, born October 28, 1971. Karen received a BS from the University of Nebraska and was a child welfare caseworker for five years. She is now a homemaker and enjoys golfing, water skiing, and snow skiing. She and Ronald have taken trips to Mexico and Europe.

1982 – Karen is married to Ron Eakes, part of the Eakes family that owns and manages Eakes Office Equipment Centers. Karen graduated from the University of Nebraska I ’66 with a degree in home economics and journalism. Karen and Ron have three children, Leslie (10, John (8), and Ann (5). Karen works part time with an interior decorator and enjoys tennis, aerobics, golf, water skiing, bridge, reading, gardening, and volunteer activities. Karen and Ron love to travel.

1987 – Karen is District Manager for Doncaster (a division of Tanner Companies, Inc.) and recruits, trains, and supervises clothing consultants and also does some selling. She and Ron are the parents of Leslie (15), John (13), and Ann (10). Although Karen has little free time, she likes to travel, ski, and read.

1997 –

2007 – Monika and John are in China and we love to visit them. Life gets busier and busier. Chuck is Mayor of York and has sold the mortuary-but still works. I volunteer.
