What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Larry went from Private to Sergeant to 1st Lieutenant in the Army; attended Radio School’ attended Officer Candidate School; made Company Commander; and was Officer in Charge of Security, NASA, Cooper Space Capsule. He earned a BS in Speech and Dramatic Art and LLB in Law and a BS in Electronics. He is a ham radio operator and is active in the following organizations: Measurement and Data Society; American Association for the Advancement of Science; Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers; Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. He worked his way through college as a radio announcer; worked one year for the Office of the Governor of Colorado doing health and medical research; has lived in Colorado since 1969; was listed in the 1971-72 edition of ‘Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities’; listed in ‘Who’s Who in Medical Instrumentation’; hh3 is currently working on the control system for artificial kidney; and working on his masters degree. In his spare time he and Barbara enjoy skiing, hiking, and ham radio.

1982 – Larry and his wife Barbara (an artist) enjoy biking and skiing. Larry is also involved in ham radio. Larry is a member of the Faculty Senate and a Professor of Electronic, Engineering and Technology at Metropolitan State College in Denver. Larry received the 1980 outstanding faculty award in electrical engineering from University of Colorado-Denver, Eta Kappa Nu, listed in ‘Who’s Who – Colleges and Universities in ’71 – 72’, designed artificial kidney machines, ionization smoke detectors, and was Chief Engineer at several radio stations. He also holds degrees in speech and dramatic art, Law and electrical engineering – continuing professional student.

1987 – Larry and Barbara enjoy living in Denver. Larry is Chairman of the Department of Electronics Engineering Technology at Metropolitan State College. Additional activities include ham radio operating, skiing, and astronomy.
