1972 – James married Janice L. Beckman, who attended Northeast in 1965 and 1966. They have one girl, Stephanie Dawn (4). James attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for three years and is now an equipment operator for the City of Lincoln. He traveled all over the country with Wesleyan’s basketball and baseball teams. He enjoys camping, playing softball, and basketball, bowling, restoring old sports cars, and drinking beer.
