Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Bruce and Lynda Rae have two children, Danialle Rae (7) and Mitchell Drew (5). Bruce completed three years in the US Marine Corps and graduated from the University of Nebraska may 1972 with a BS in Construction Science. He is now an engineer in training (civil engineering field) working for Hoskins-Western-Sonderegger, Inc. He has been working with AAATT designing a transcontinental telephone cable (New York to Los Angles), several airports in Nebraska, highways in Iowa-Nebraska-South Dakota-Kansas-Colorado-and overseas. There are branch offices in Lebanon, Jordan, Formosa, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guyana, Washington DC, and Wichita. He and Linda hope to purchase a camper or trailer in the future and do some traveling. First stop will be Florida to visit Linda’s folks. They both enjoy fishing and camping but haven’t done much since Bruce is trying to finish college. They have a dream of building their own home someday and spend some of their time collecting ideas for it. Bruce has had the hunting bug since the first day he went (the day the senior boys skipped school after we won the State Football Championship).

1982 – Bruce and Linda have 3 children, Danialle (18), Mitchell (16), and Elaine (11). Bruce is a Deputy City Engineer in the Construction Division, City of Lincoln, responsible for all construction within the public rights-of-way of the city. Bruce enjoys gardening, auctions and model railroading, and Linda enjoys all needlecrafts and bowling. Bruce has a certificate of completion in electronics school (USMC), certificate of foreign language school (USMC), and certificate of completion piping systems institute (Utah State University), a BS in Construction Science from UNL, and membership in the American Water Works Association, American Public Works Association, and Professional Engineers in Nebraska.

1987 – Bruce and Linda (Mahynske) have three children, Danielle (23), Mitchell (21), and Elaine (16). Bruce is Deputy City Engineer with the Lincoln Public Works while Linda engineers the Michaelson household. Danielle married in 1984, Mitch is serving with the Army in West Germany, and Elaine got engaged in December 1986. Bruce and Linda bought a new house in 1986. Linda still finds time to enjoy quilting and crafts. Bruce is a model railroading enthusiast and also plays golf.

1997 – Hobbies – Gardening, painting, modeling, golf

2002 – Licensed Civil Engineer in Nebraska and Colorado. Avid golfer, modeler, beer drinker.
