What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Karen married Richard L. Harrington, a Northeast graduate in 1951. They have one daughter, Mary Reeves Harrington (2½). Karen attended the University of Nebraska and is now a Sarah Coventry Jewelry Fashion Show Director. She worked and lived in Great Falls, Montana for two years.

1982 – Karen and her family have lived in southern California for the past 3 years while her husband completes his PhD in theology. They have a 12-year-old daughter, Mary. The Claremont United Methodist Church as an Administrative Secretary and Office Manager currently employs Karen.

1987 – David and Karen have a 17-year-old daughter, Mary Reeves McCreary. Their family lived in southern California and Alliance, NE before moving to Aurora in 1986. Karen is a secretary at Pritner Product Designs, Inc. She gardens, does counted cross-stitch, and is a brownie troop leader.

1997 – Flower gardening, read, President-elect of the Saline Cancer Society Daffodil Days, love to play bridge.

2007 – My husband is currently Pastor at Faith United Methodist Church. I am working part-time at Christopher Banks in the mall and enjoy it very much. I was a librarian for years, but decided to try something different in Grand Island. We have lived in Crete, NE for 9 years and Chadron for 3 years. While in Chadron I was the librian for the National Boys & Girls Club in Pine Ridge, SD. Very educational, I would suggest that if you’re really into history that you read about the 1800s in NE and especially Red Cloud and Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. I learned a lot there and loved working with the children very much. Our only child, Mary is divorced and living in Grand Island also. She works for Goodwill Industries of Greater NE as a Brain Speciality Counselor. Finding them jobs and coaching them. Very frustrating and yet rewarding work.
