Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 –

1982 – Janice and Earl have 1 daughter, Trish (16). They have been in Colorado for 10 years where Earl is a Security Officer for Eastman Kodak and Janice is enjoying the luxury of being a full-time mother and housewife. Janice enjoys bowling, reading and working crossword puzzles.

1987 – Jan and Earl have one daughter, Tish Bennett (21) and a grandson, Shawn Bennett, who “is really a cutie, and has a great sense of Humor!” Jan works for Allstate Insurance in Greeley as a solicitor and is studying to get her insurance license. She and Earl like to travel and spend time with Shawn. Jan also works crossword puzzles, reads and loves to watch old movies.

1997 – Reading, crossword puzzles. Crafts, camping. Our daughter went back to school this year so we have been helping her by watching the grandchildren when she needs a sitter. We bought property in the mountains this year and are looking forward to spending a lot of time up there camping.

2007 – I retired in December of 2005. I’m so busy now I don’t know how I found time to work. My husband retired 3 years before I did. We have done some traveling and hope to do more. My oldest grandson, Kaleb, goes to CU in Boulder, Shawn is in the Navy and will be stationed in Norfolk, VA. Karissa graduates from high school this years from high school this year and plans to take some college courses. Natasha will graduate next year. I play Bunco twice a month, belong to the Red Hatter and we have a group of 4 couples we get together with every few months and do something new and interesting. About once a year we have a “How to Host a Murder” party which is always fun. We have season tickets to the theater in Freeley and I go to Denver with my friends about once a month. I still have an interest in movies especially the old classics. I work crossword puzzles and read when I have time. I also enjoy cooking and have a large collection of cookbooks and as my husband would say “I’m addicted to the food channel!”
