Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Harry and Jane have two boys, Mike (5) and Mark (2). He is a farmer and purebred Polled Shorthorn cattle breeder. He was in the National Guard for six years (1964 – 1970). From 1962 – 1966, Harry lived and worked in Lincoln as a carpenter. He was married October 2, 1965. Their farm is 2 North and 3¼ East of Utica and most of their time is devoted to maintaining, improving and expanding the farm operation. However, they have found time to take two 2-week vacations to Canada and they try to schedule a couple of short fishing and camping trip each summer. Harry is a coin collector and they belong to two card clubs. He is active in the Utica Jaycees and the Nebraska Shorthorn Association, of which he is presently the State Vice-president. His spare time is spent fishing, camping, hunting, playing cards, dancing, and working in his shop.

1982 – Harry and Jane have 2 boys, Mike (15) and Mark (12). Harry farms in partnership raising cattle, hogs, sheep, Brittany spaniels, corn, milo, and beans. Harry enjoys hunting, fishing (summer and winter), and camping. Harry’s newest hobby is muzzle loading and is a member of the Oregon Trail Muzzleloaders. Harry was in the National Guard.

1987 – Harry and Jane farm outside Utica, raising a variety of crops and animals. They have two sons, Mike is 20, and Mark is 17. Harry enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.

2002 – Hobbies: Big game hunting (deer & elk), Ice-fishing

2002 – Still farming. Raise seed corn for Monsanto & Mycogen: commercial corn, soybeans, milo and alfalfa. Enjoy fishing, deer, turkey & elk hunting. Co-chaired evening meal at 2006 Cattlemen’s Ball – serving over 3,500 people. Enjoy the 3 grandsons.
