What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Virginia and Warren have one child, Kristen Kay (1) born on April 11^th. She attended the Nebraska Wesleyan University and earned a BA and an MA from the University of Nebraska. She is now a teacher at Charles Culler Junior High/housewife/mother/etc./etc. Her hobbies are reading ands sewing and she also serves as Scholarship Advisor for Phi Mu Sorority. Virginia wet to Hawaii on R&R when Warren was in Viet Nam. They lived in Williamsburg, VA for a short time and lived in South Carolina for a year and traveled around a bit in the south. They went to the Orange Bowl in 1971. She says so far she hasn’t had any time off, but hopes to before the next ten years are up!

1982 – Virginia taught 3 years at Papillion. She finished her master’s degree at UNL in ’70 taught one year at Culler Jr. High, 7 years at Lincoln East and is currently teaching at Cheyenne East High where she is Chairman of the English Department. She has written and designed 4 courses. Two of them she was paid for and one was published. Virginia and her husband Warren is the natural resources advisor for the Governor of Wyoming. Virginia is a Girl Scout leader. They are all wildlife ‘freaks’ and make several trips to the mountains.

1987 – Virginia is a teacher and the English Department Chairman at Cheyenne East High School. She is a nominee for the 1987 Teacher of the Year Award. Virginia enjoys spending time with Warren and their daughters, Kristen Kay (16) and Kari Lyn (11). She says her favorite hobbies are ‘mostly mundane”, things such as “playing in the dirt” and reading.
