What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Gay is married to Victor Zuercher, who is a dentist. She is working as a professional model and last year was chaperon for Miss Hawaii to the Miss USA pageant in Miami. She is also teaching at Patricia Stevens Career College in Honolulu. After graduating from LNS, Gay attended Evangel College in Springfield, MO, Patricia Stevens College, and Trans World Stewardess Training. She then worked as a TWA stewardess for three years out of Kansas City. Gay and Victor have enjoyed visiting Japan, Hong Kong, Bankok, Taiwan, Okinawa, Jamaica, and Mexico City. When Gay can find time, she enjoys golf and tennis. She is also active in TWA Clipped Wings, Honolulu Dental Society Auxiliary, and likes to do decoupage, macramé, and tole painting.

1982 –

1987 – Gay is Public Relations Director for Kiana International, the owner of Image Building Workshops – seminars to the public and private sectors. She is also a lecturer at Kapiolani community college and State Director for Miss Hawaii USA and Miss Hawaii Teen USA beauty pageants. In 1985, she trained Miss Hawaii Teen USA, Kelly Ann Hu, who became Miss Teen USA 1985. Gay has worked as an extra on Magnum PI. She asks “what spare time?”, but does attend aerobics class at the health club. Her son, Matthew (13) accompanied her to Lincoln this summer.

1997 – Two years ago, I moved from Honolulu, Hawaii to Sarasota, Florida. I accepted this position with Safe place and Rape Crisis Center as Shelter Director. SPARCC deals with the women and children who have been victims of Domestic violence and some victims of rape also. Matt is a senior at Syracuse University!!!! A wonderful young man, I am very proud of him.
