What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Roger is married to Shirleen Hennig, who attended Northeast with the class of ’62, but graduated out-of-state. Roger spent 7 years in the Nebraska Army National Guard. He attended the University of Nebraska 1 ½ years and is now assistant manager, Account Information Center, First National Bank & Trust of Lincoln. His hobby is model railroading and he is active in Toastmasters International and the American Institute of Banking. In his spare time he enjoys tennis, attends local musical and dramatic productions and gardening.

1982 – Roger married Shirleen Henning (she attended LNE but graduated in Albuquerque, NM). They have a daughter, Melinda Megan (2). Roger attended UNL for 1½ years, then spent 7 years in the Nebraska Army National Guard where he was involved with communications. He works at First National Bank, Lincoln as Manager of Account Information. In his spare time he reads, listens to music, tinkers with the stereo, and works on model railroading. He is currently fulfilling a lifelong dream: studying the piano. Shirleen is a registered nurse in orthopedics at Lincoln Clinic. They enjoy the Lincoln Symphony, gardening, and bicycling. They also love Kansas City and visit there whenever they can, to shop and ‘eat their way through’ some of their favorite restaurants.

1987 – Roger is employed by Firstier – Lincoln in cost accounting. He and Shirleen (Hennig) enjoy gardening and classical music. Their daughter, Melinda, is 7 years old. Roger is still studding piano and also is involved with model railroading.
