Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 –

1982 – Juanita and her 3rd husband, Bryce will be married 1 year on April 30th. She has 2 children, Sean (15) and Shani (11) and a stepson Larry (5). Juanita is a bookkeeper for a family housing maintenance contractor at Ft. Carson. Bryce is a SFC and will retire from the Army in February ’83. Juanita enjoys roller skating with her kids and loves houseplants. Her husband hunts everything and they butcher their own meat. She has lived in Colorado for 15 years ad loves it. She had a gastric by-pass in 1974 and lost 100 pounds! She lived in Germany for 14 months (May 70 to July 81) with her second husband.

1987 – Juanita is an inventory control data person at Phil Long Ford in Denver – the largest ford dealer in eight states. She loves flea markets and building her movie collection, music is also a special interest. In November 1984, she was involved in a serious car accident and feels very lucky to have survived. Juanita was married to Steve Pierce for 15 years and they are the parents of Sean (20) and Shani (17). Shani attended the reunion with Juanita this summer.

2002 - Trying to submit my journal for a soap opera! Married high school sweetheart (15 years) – Lost to “best” friend. Married marriage counselor (20 years) had 12 surgeries – married best man (20 years) from previous marriage. Moved to Utah with both ‘husbands’ – was on Montel Williams April of 1984. Lived as a threesome for six years. Drove semi with them and have been in every state except Florida. Became a widow at 52 – took ashes to Alaska on real ‘Love Boat’. Buried a boyfriend the next year on Christmas. At 53 lost my house-car-truck-dog-cat-hot tub-job-almost my son. Diagnosed as Bi-polar (finally found out I’m really not nuts!) Returned to my church I was raised in & I’m now seeking my disability and beginning to ‘start’ over. Mary Schwartz and I have remained close friends since 7th grade.

2007 – Before Bryce died in 1997, we traveled all over the country to every state except Florida. I took his ashes to Skagway, AK on a cruise to leave him there. He was a two-time Vietnam veteran.
