1972 – Doris is a 1966
graduate of the University of Nebraska and is now working in the Accounting
Department of an Insurance company. She is active in the Lutheran Women’s
League and Mrs. Jaycees. From 1966 – 1969 she taught in Anita, Iowa (business
teacher). She and Curtis were married in February 1969 and she lived and
taught in Leesville, LA 1969 – 1970 while Curtis served in the Army at Ft
Polk. In her spare time she enjoys golf, yard work, and handwork. |

1982 – Doris and Curt have
3 children, Carmen (7), Carla (5), and Carl (3). Doris earned a BS in
education from UNL. At the present time she is a domestic engineer. Curt is
an Industrial Engineer at Walker Mfg. Right now they are thinking about
gardening and preserving for survival! They enjoy golf, swimming, and being
with the family. ‘Spare time’ is filled with children, serving the Lord, and
civic activities. |

1987 – About two years
ago, Doris and Curt and their family were transferred to Indiana. Doris is a
substitute teacher at the West Noble Schools. She and curt are the parents of
Carmen, age 12, Carla, Age 10, and Carl who is 8. When she isn’t running kids
to all their activities, Doris takes time out to knot, sew, and do court
cross stitch. |
