Life Highlights –

What you have told us about yourself these past 40 years

1972 – Gregg and Lana have one boy, Gregg Allen (%). He attended the University of Nebraska and the Purdue University in Indiana. He is now a Motor Products Salesman for Sun Oil Company (SUNOCO). His hobbies are water skiing, general auto racing activities, landscaping, and he is active in the Corvette Club. Gregg and Lana were married in 1963 and moved to Indianapolis in September 1967. Since then, they have attended every ‘500’ race and National Drags. Last summer, they bought a boat and spent most of the summer going to different lakes around Indiana and the Ohio River. They have traveled to Cleveland, Philadelphia, New York City, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and the Chicago. IL area. This summer they are planning their vacation for Kentucky Lake and Florida for the end of summer. They have gone to the last two Kentucky Derby Races and found them very interesting, but not too profitable. Gregg Allen will start public school this fall and they are hoping he will learn to water-ski this summer.

1982 – Gregg and Lana (Anderson – LNE class of ’64) have 2 boys, Gregg Alan (15 ½) and John ‘Scott’ (8). Gregg transferred from UNL to Indiana-Purdue University where he received an Associate Degree – Industrial Supervision. They moved from Indianapolis to St Louis for 1 year, back to Indianapolis and in 1980 they moved to the ‘Valley of the Sun’. Gregg is District Sales Manager for ACF Industries, Carter Carburetor Division (3 state area). Lana has started a new endeavor – real estate. They enjoy tennis, boating, and water skiing (even in the desert!), corvettes, and travel.

1987 – Gregg and Lana (Anderson, class of ’64) are the parents of 2 sons, “Greg” Alan (20) and John “Scott” (13). Gregg is the West Coast Regional Sales Manager for N. Cardone Industries. He is in the process of setting up his own sales agency to represent several different companies in the automotive industry. Gregg says that in his spare time he works.

1997 – Golf, Cars, & Travel

2007 – 2006: Both sons married. Scott married Cecily 4-15-06 & Gregg married Patti 08-29-06. Every year for the last 3 years we have spent 1 week in San Diego at a beach house with our whole family. 2007: Still enjoy cars, especially Corvettes. Lana & I went to Nashville for our anniversary and I went to the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, KY. We still go to the “Indy 500”. We have attended since 1968. My sister still lives in Lincoln with her husband.
